Travel Diaries | Karachi, Pakistan

I know, I know — it’s May and I’m sharing a trip I took almost over 6 months ago. I can’t help it! I took amazing photos that I wanted to share with you all. I’ll be real with you guys, it had been a minute since I had last visited Pakistan. And by a minute, I mean about 15 years. This was my second time visiting in my life, and my siblings’ first — so it was a special one, to say the least. We got to reconnect with our relatives and reunite with our loving grandparents as well. We went around December, and winter in Pakistan is wedding season, so I thought that was pretty neat. The city was turning up all day & night long, with strips of wedding halls all bumping with music and decorated with beautiful lights. The weather was hot, but not unbearable, seeing as we went in December, which I highly recommend to dodge the heat. The food? Absolutely amazing. Lassis on point, street chaat (proceed with caution with street food) DELISH, the freshest tasting paan, and Pakistani Chinese food? GAME. CHANGER. Chinese food never tasted the same again when I came back to America.

Enjoy the photos!
